7th international conference "Architecture and Urbanism: Contemporary research" took place at the Faculty of Architecture, Czech Technical University in Prague on December 7th – 8th, 2017. The even.t focused on the doctoral students of architecture, urbanism and related fields from the region of Central Europe. All conference papers have been reviewed.

anotace	Mnohá města mají velké problémy se zvládnutím větší masy turistů v historických jádrech, v jednoduchém a přehledném propojení památek v blízkém okolí, v koncepci organizace dopravních vztahů a podmínek pro turisty. Pro podporu turistického rozvoje by měl být proud turistů bezpečný. Ve městech zařazených na seznamu světového kulturního dědictví UNESCO či v hojně navštěvovaných městech proudí investice do kvalitního propojení mezi zájmovými body a do turistické infrastruktury obecně pro větší pohodlí a snazší orientaci pro turisty. Many cities have problems with handling larger masses of tourist in historical centres, providing simple and clear connection between historical monuments, designing a concept of organization of transport relations and conditions for tourists. In order to promote the tourist industry development, the stream of tourists should be safe. World heritage cities or cities with mass tourism invest into connection between interest points and into tourist infrastructure, all for making tourists' orientation easier.
