7th international conference "Architecture and Urbanism: Contemporary research" took place at the Faculty of Architecture, Czech Technical University in Prague on December 7th – 8th, 2017. The even.t focused on the doctoral students of architecture, urbanism and related fields from the region of Central Europe. All conference papers have been reviewed.

anotace	Areál bývalé panelárny Prefa Holešovice zaujme především svou prázdnotou a tichostí. Je to místo s bohatou historií, s tíživou přítomností a především s nejistou budoucností. Smyslem příspěvku je přiblížit vznik panelárny, poukázat na současný stav objektů a v neposlední řadě seznámit s vizemi pro celý areál. The grounds of the former precast concrete panels factory Prefa Holešovice attracts mainly with their emptiness and silence. It is a place with rich history, burdensome present and above all an uncertain future. The aim of this paper is to describe the development of the factory, point out the current conditions of the buildings and, last but not least, inform about visions for the whole area.
