7th international conference "Architecture and Urbanism: Contemporary research" took place at the Faculty of Architecture, Czech Technical University in Prague on December 7th – 8th, 2017. The even.t focused on the doctoral students of architecture, urbanism and related fields from the region of Central Europe. All conference papers have been reviewed.

anotace	Příspěvek pojednává o hledání vzájemného vztahu mezi pohybem a vnímáním prostoru u osob trpících Parkinsonovou nemocí a podobou vystavěného prostředí. Cílem je pochopit klíčové příznaky nemoci a vhodným návrhem prostoru eliminovat jejich projevy. Během výzkumu, který probíhá ve spolupráci s 1. LF UK a VFN v Praze, jsou, kromě teoretického zkoumání, konfrontováni i lidé s Parkinsonovou nemocí s různým uměle vytvořeným prostorovým uspořádáním. The paper deals with finding relations between movement and perception of space by people with Parkinson‘s disease and architectural environment. The aim of the project is to demonstrate, that some of the symptoms of Parkinson's disease can be compensated for by a good and suitable design. The research is in cooperation with medical experts that specialize in neurological diseases including Parkinson‘s disease and also with people suffering from Parkinson‘s disease.
